Manufacturer
A company with manufacturing capacity, situated at a
stated location or stated locations, that carries out or controls such stages
in the manufacture, assessment, handling and storage of a product that enables
it to accept responsibility for continued compliance of the product with the
relevant requirements and undertakes all obligations in that connection.
There is no restriction regarding the country where the
manufacturer or the manufacturing site of the product is located for applying
for an ENEC licence.
Location Testing Laboratory:
Testing of products falling under the scope of CELMA will
take place in
CENELEC member and affiliated countries.

Item
1: EN 60598-1 – Luminaires
- clause 2.2 Class
0 luminaires are not in the scope of the Agreement;
- clause 3.2 For luminaires to be connected directly to the supply the rated
voltage shall be 230 V or a range including 230 V.
- clause 3.3 Special
national conditions concerning the labelling of the luminaire
are to be fulfilled for luminaires for use in Denmark,
as indicated in the annex to EN 60598‑1.
- clause 3.3 The
Certification Body, granting the licence, shall check the correct wording of
the mounting instructions, if any, in a
language
acceptable to it. The manufacturer shall take care of the correct wording in other
required languages (with or without
assistance of the Certification Body).
- clause 5.2.1 Luminaires provided with a plug shall be equipped with one
of the following types

15: EN 60570 - Electrical
supply track systems for luminaires
- clause 4.3 Track-systems
shall exist of at least a track, supply connector, coupler and adapter.
- clause 4.3 All
components according to the manufacturers catalogue shall be subject to
testing.
- clause 4.3 Adapters,
provided with socket outlets are not accepted, as the track-system is only
intended for connection of luminaires.
- clause 4.3 Multi-adapters
as a single component are excluded from the ENEC mark, as the adapter manufacturer
can not control the
dimensions
of the essential parts of the third party track.

catalogue shall not include any information about the use of the track-system

Adapter interface components, not forming a fixed part with the luminaire can be accepted for ENEC mark if all relevant requirements

attention is given to the fact that adapter interface components are not
covered by EN 60570 and the luminaire standard

60598-1 does not give a defined testing program for these products.
